We now offer in-house counselling services, this allows young persons in our care to request sessions with our fully qualified Councillor. We feel that having an independent professional that acts within our organisation will allow clients to open up about some of the issues that they face. Below is some information about the services offered:
“I am an independent qualified and Integrative Counsellor and hold a Higher Professional Counselling Diploma from a BACP accredited course.
I offer both long and short term counselling for individuals in a safe professional and confidential setting I offer face-to-face counselling for adults and young people from age 13 (with parental consent).
My humanistic training enables me to blend the Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Existential philosophy approaches in providing my clients with the much needed warmth, non-judgemental and confidential environment to look at their life issues.
Working flexibly across race, culture, gender, age, sexual orientation and “class”, I adapt my approach to suit the uniqueness of the ‘relationship’ that develops with each client.
I have been working therapeutically in the community for over 4 years and have undertaken post qualifying training. I have extensive experience with, anger management, bereavement, relationship issues, drug and alcohol addiction, work dynamics, sexual identity issues, loss, abuse, childhood trauma, work issues, cultural identity issues, family dynamics, sexual problems, anxiety, depression and trauma.
I am based in Sanderstead. I also draw clients through the local Children’s Centres around Selsdon and surrounding Croydon area.”
