Hear what our service providers and care leavers have to say about their experience with Higher Level Care:
‘‘A reliable provider that will always go the extra mile to assist the young people and the authority. A provider that shows genuine care for the young people and communicates well with professionals. The ethos of care comes from the top; from the owner who takes personal responsibility for ensuring that the organisation has high standards.’’ LB Ealing Manager
“Able to deal with difficult young people from varied background in a professional manner which empower each young person with invaluable skills to succeed” AT – Royal Borough of Kingston
“Both myself and my team have found staff at Ismat House and Sophia House to provide excellent care for Kingston’s looked after children and care leavers. Social workers have been impressed by the way staff keep them up to date with information, including providing weekly reports. Furthermore, staff assist in supporting young people to achieve their care/pathway plans in the transition to adulthood realistically.” SM – Royal Borough of Kingston
“I would like to thank you for the excellent service we receive from your organisation. I would like to comment on the good work Nathan, is doing with our service and our young person, Harry. He is very professional and a pleasure to work with. Our young person feels comfortable and relaxed in his company and he is a lovely person to work with professionally. Nathan has attended all the appointments required with Harry and has taken a lot of initiative in regards to preparation for independence and getting him into education. Nathan also provided a high quality report to the IRO today and she was very impressed with the service he provides. I would like to express our thanks for all Nathan’s hard work. Please pass this on to him.” – Borough of London (Names have been changed)
“I just want to thank you. When I turned up at Salman house, I was trouble and a challenge. But you stuck it out. You guided me and helped me turn into the person I am today. I thank you for accepting me into your care and for all the chances you gave me. You gave me chance after chance as you always said to me “I see potential in you Rachel, you just need to believe in yourself”. All the tears I have cried, all the arguments we have had, you have been there fighting my corner and making other people believe in me as much as you did. You took me under your wing and I will always appreciate it. I thank you for all your hard work. You have seen me grow over these three years and I hope I will be a young person you can always say “I guided Rachel Stone to change”. I admit at first I wasn’t keen on joining Higher Level Care but it was like one big family. I have made so many memories and friends from being in your care. And I will always cherish them memories in life. There comes a time when it’s time to move on and take all the memories with you to the next chapter of your life. It’s going to be very sad leaving higher level of care but I’m growing and I need to experience new things in life and go to the next chapter. But thank you for being a part of my life and I know you will help other young people. And I hope you do this until your last breathe. Thank you Jerome for everything” – Care Leaver (Names have been changed)
